I have a Windows 7, Service Pack 1, bit desktop with a 2. I'm the sole user. I have Office and Wordwhich I use to edit a website created with it.

It is how the program works. Removing the service pack is not going to change anything. The behaviour is triggered by the fact that you have two Word versions which are sharing resources and it is that essential conflict that is at the root para que sirve el microsoft office enterprise 2007 free your problems. As long as you continue to have two Word versions fighting over the same resources this problem is going to persist.

I understand that this problem only arose after the SP1 update, but the fact that it did not behave like this before is the anomaly that is difficult to explain.
What you are experiencing now is the normal expected ofvice of having two Word versions on the same platform. Note also that Office is not recommended for use on Windows 7.
